The LevelOne Printer Server solutions are a quick and easy way to integrate printers into the network. The printer can be accessed via the network and can be shared among all workstations. All LevelOne printer servers support a wide variety of networking protocols and operating systems and are available in a variety of port configurations.The printer servers can be integrated in any working LAN, the flexibility of the devices adapts them to any need and operating system are Windows 9x, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Novell Netware, Apple Macintosh and all UNIX compatible systems with LPD-support. If firmware upgrade is necessary, the printer server can be updated in place, because all printer servers use a flash-eprom tto store the firmware information and can be updated via a network download function. A special feature is the internet printing ability of the LevelOne printer server series. As the printer servers can be fully integrated into any internetenabled LAN, the printer server can be operated worldwide by using a regular e-mail account. The printer server polls the e-mail account periodically and prints any received e-mail attachments to the selected printer. LevelOne printer server are fully SNMP manageable and support all SNMP features and traps to provide full remote control of the printer server even in sophisticated netwoek environments.
